ABOUT THE LUMBERYARD
Lumberyard Events Co. is a venue located in historic Downtown Sinton. The Lumberyard is in a prime location for your event or wedding and can accommodate both large and small events. The venue has a serving line and prep area, stage, built in tables and the ability to incorporate outdoor and indoor vendors.
OUR HISTORY
Originally founded as the Turner Lumber Company in 1926, The Sinton Lumberyard has been an icon of downtown Sinton for nearly a century. Turner Lumber Co. specialized in construction materials, tools and long leaf pine. Their inventory of timber and hardware can still be found in homes across San Patricio County.
Turner Lumber Co. was later sold and became the Peoples Lumber Company, which signs are still visible in the Lumberyard. After the building’s tenure as a lumber and hardware store the building was converted into a BBQ restaurant also know as the Lumberyard Smokehouse. We have honored the legacy of the space with the name Lumberyard Events Co.

The Mercantile is located at the front of our building and can be used for small events to tacked onto the main hall for use as a bridal suite.

Madera Hall is our main events hall, complete with a full-serving area and built-in tables for guests. The space features high ceilings with exposed rafters, finished concrete floors, and architectural rope lighting.

The Green Room is located at the back of the lumberyard. It has large bay doors that open to the street and the main hall. It’s perfect for indoor/outdoor events and can be configured as a groom suite or bar.
